I have a small independent contracting business on the side. I don’t have regular employees just a few people that work with me from time to time on odd jobs. Is there free software online that I could download to produce paystubs for the money that I paid them without spending a whole lot of money? Like I said this is just my business on the side so I don’t feel the need to invest in expensive software for 3 small jobs a year.
I have reason to think someone installed some monitoring software on my computer that tracks everything I do, what website i visit, chat windows, programs everything. Its my understanding this is some kind of corp. tracking software like the kind used by companies to track a employees movements. Any ideas on how to find this out. I have access to all user accounts on the system(XP pro). BTW this is my own personal computer and does not belong to any company.
no this is a software sytem that recorded everything done on my other computer its not simply a matter of erasing history and cookies ect. the software program i am refering to actually makes photos of say the window im using to type this

Everyone seems to be using QUICKBOOKS. I have heard good & bad things about it. If I do get Quickbooks, which version should I get? I own a small insurance agency.
If I go the Quickbooks route, what product is best? Quickbooks Pro, Simple Start, etc…? I would guess my accounting needs are minimal. I just need to track payroll, expenses, etc. No inventory or invoices…
