I’m planning to have my own small business selling beauty products online (not EBAY, I will have my own website). I won’t have any employee and it’s a home business (for now). I need a software that will keep track of my sales and expenses. Which software do you recommend? Thanks!

it might be a bit more than what you want but have a look at M.Y.O.B.
Hello there.
I am an Accountant by profession. I own my own company and offer several different softwares. The software that my clients prefer most (and is MOST cost effective) is Quickbooks. It is an extremely user-friendly application especially for those who are not highly advanced when it comes to bookkeeping! It is extremely versatile and works for many different industries. I currently have it set up and am using it to perform accounting for a hotel, a liquor store, an I.T. company, a nonprofit organization and 3 of its subsidiaries, 4 apartment complexes and 7 commercial office buildings, so as you can see it is quite adaptable. And to be quite honest is kind of fun to use as well!
It covers all of the bases for you, including AP/AR/GL and you can even set it up for on-line banking and have up to the minute information as to how much you have in the bank!
I sure hope that this helps you out and GOOD LUCK on your new business! I can tell you that there is NOTHING more satisfying than working for yourself!
I agree with Hello There. Quickbooks is the best, been using it for 5 years now and the new version exports to Excel. I use Quickbooks Pro, about $200.
